Acute Mental Health Care for Families
Palm Point Behavioral Health’s inpatient program offers treatment and support to children, teens, and adults who are experiencing acute mental health issues. We offer help and hope to patients age 5 and older who are struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction disorders, personality disorders and more. Our newly-constructed 74-bed facility provides patients with a therapeutic environment to focus on healing. Through evidence-based treatment modalities, patients learn new life skills and coping mechanisms that lead to new thinking patterns and healthier lifestyles.
Our staff of psychiatrists, social workers, activity therapists, nurses and mental health technicians work closely with each patient to develop an individualized treatment plan based on their specific needs, histories and/or past trauma. Patients meet regularly with their treatment team to help them achieve their treatment goals. Length of treatment will vary based on the needs of each patient. From day one, we work with patients, providers and families to plan for discharge and aftercare to ensure that success and rehabilitation can continue once the patient is back in their community. We may recommend one of our Outpatient Programs to patients who need continued oversight once inpatient treatment is complete. This provides patients and families with our assistance on an outpatient basis as they heal. We are dedicated to providing our patients with the skills they need to maintain long-term health.
