Choose Palm Point Behavioral Health for Healing and Growth
To better serve our community, we have expanded our services to offer residential treatment for adolescent girls (ages 12-17) who are struggling with mental health and behavioral challenges. Our program is designed to provide a structured, therapeutic environment where teen girls can receive the care and support they need to thrive.

Providing the tools to heal
Our specialized residential program is designed for girls who are experiencing:
- Mood disorders (depression, anxiety, bipolar)
- Trauma-related conditions
- Behavioral challenges
- Self-harm or suicidal ideation
- Struggles with daily functioning
Now Accepting SIPP and Medicaid Referrals
We are now accepting referrals for our Adolescent Girls Residential Program through the Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program (SIPP) and Medicaid to better serve our community. To make a referral, please call 321-603-6550 or use our online form here.
What to Bring
Clothing Items
5-7 days of clothing, please ensure at least 2 uniforms are included (we will provide a suitcase for clothing to be transferred to the residential area). Laundry facilities, including supplies, are available for residents use on-site:
- It is highly recommended to bring clothing items without drawstrings or laces. If items are brought with drawstrings or laces, we will remove them prior to the resident coming to the residential area. Accessories will be provided for cinching shoes and clothes.
- Closed-toe/closed-back shoes are required for outdoor recreational activities. Flip-flops or sandals recommended for shower use; sneakers recommended for physical activities.
- Lightweight jackets and sweaters are recommended for colder months of the year and/or if you get cold easily indoors (no hoodies are allowed).
- Residents are required to be in uniform while attending school. Uniform consists of:
- White or navy polos
- Khaki or navy slacks; knee length shorts are also suitable
- Closed-toed and closed-heeled shoes
Hygiene Items
- Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, body soap, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, and toothbrush – Palm Point has most basic hygiene products in the event you forget something or run out.
- Bedding if desired (we provide all necessary bedding and towels).
- Makeup items should be limited to a single quart-sized bag. Please refrain from bringing items that have glass or metal (level system determines use).
Permitted Personal Items
- Balls/fidget toys or deck of cards
- Appropriate reading material
- Coloring or activity books
- Journal or sketchbook; wire free notebooks
- Nontoxic markers, colored pencils, or crayons
- Transparent or clear pencil case- no metal
- Pencils are permitted (without metal)
- Limit of two plush toys
What to Leave at Home
Any item that is considered dangerous or illegal is considered contraband on the Palm Point Behavioral Health campus and will be taken by staff. For the safety and privacy of everyone, the following items are not permitted and will be returned to your family or home. This is only an example of items not allowed, but it does not include everything. When you are admitted to Palm Point, a staff member will check your belongings and confirm appropriate items are brought into the program or left at home.
**Safety is our number one priority, and it may be necessary for treatment team members to restrict additional items.**
Contraband
- Money (Is not required during your stay.)
- Makeup items containing any glass, metal, or mirrors
- Razors or shavers
- Tweezers, eyelash curlers, nail clippers
- Hand sanitizer
- Aerosol products
- Shoe polish, liquid soap, hair dye, or bleach
- Prescription and non-prescription medications, vitamins, herbs, or nutritional supplements. (Only bring a few days’ supply of your prescribed medications when traveling to the facility for admission.)
- Jewelry
- Cell phones and computers
- All electronics (except a small reading light and small mp3 player- level system determines use.)
- Exercise equipment
- Any glass items or mirrors
- Pocketknives
- Food, chewing gum, breath mints, candy of any kind, sugar, or artificial sweeteners
- All tobacco related items
- Illegal substances or mood-altering drugs
- Firearms and/or supplies
- No drinks of any kind, including water. We provide you with water bottles and access to water 24/7.
- DVD’s & CD’s
- Belts and shoelaces (you will be provided with replacement accessories.)
